An intrastate move starts and ends in California. It runs under our California permit, Cal-T #0190543, and it has its own rules: different from a local hourly move, and different from a move to another state. The most important difference for you: on a move inside California priced by weight, there are no extra charges at delivery for stairs, elevators, long carries or a shuttle.
From mid-July to late October 2026, our in-state long-distance requests from the Bay Area went to Los Angeles, Orange County, Long Beach and the Sacramento suburbs. Southern California was by far the most common direction.
If you would rather have one number, reserve a whole 26-foot truck at a binding flat fee. The price does not change with the actual weight or with access conditions at delivery, the truck carries only your shipment, the same team loads and unloads, and there are no warehouse transfers or third-party carriers. Pickup and delivery dates are guaranteed.
Full packing of every box is available as an add-on. Unpacking is not included. Full-value protection is sold by Baker International at bakerintl.com (mover ID 17421).
Half on the day of pickup and half on delivery, by cash, money order, Visa or Mastercard. Card payments carry a 3% fee, and a card payment for delivery is due one day before. Returning customers and real-estate-agent referrals get 7% off; friend referrals 5%.
