By accessing or using the website spartanmoving.com or engaging the moving services of Spartan Moving Systems ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Spartan Moving Systems provides local moving, long-distance moving, commercial and office relocation, packing and crating, and storage services. Our services are available in San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Boston, and nationwide for long-distance moves. All services are subject to availability and scheduling confirmation. Service terms, pricing, and scope are detailed in the individual moving estimate or contract provided to you prior to your move.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Quotes provided through our website, by phone, or via in-home assessment are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may vary if the actual scope of work differs from what was described (such as additional items, stairs, long carries, or restricted access). We are committed to transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Any adjustments will be communicated and agreed upon before work proceeds.

4. Booking and Cancellation

A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Spartan Moving. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move date will receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested as soon as possible.

5. Liability and Insurance

Spartan Moving Systems is licensed (CAL T #0190543) and registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT #1783494). All moves include basic liability coverage as required by law. Additional full-value protection plans are available and must be selected prior to the move. Claims for damage must be submitted in writing within 9 months of delivery, in accordance with federal regulations.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information about your move, including inventory, access conditions, and any items requiring special handling. You must ensure that parking and building access are available at both origin and destination. Hazardous materials, illegal items, and perishable goods may not be transported. Any items not disclosed during the estimate process that materially change the scope of work may result in adjusted pricing.

7. Payment

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cashier's checks, and company checks. Payment is due upon delivery unless other arrangements are made in advance. Outstanding balances may be subject to storage fees and additional charges. A deposit may be required at the time of booking for long-distance moves.

8. Website Use

All content on spartanmoving.com, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Spartan Moving Systems and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spartan Moving Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
