Moving into or out of The Logan, Temescal

The Logan is an apartment building at 5110 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland's Temescal neighborhood. In September 2026 our crew moved a two-bedroom household into The Logan, and we noted how the building schedules a move-in.

When we set up that move, the building's move-in elevator reservations ran in 3-hour slots within these windows:

Confirm the current schedule with the leasing office when you book, and tell us your slot so we can plan the crew's arrival around it.

Telegraph has bike lanes, buses and steady traffic. Ask the leasing office where movers are allowed to load. If the truck needs city curb, Oakland issues an Obstruction (OB) permit through OakDOT, and the No Parking signs must be up 72 hours before the move.

1. Book your elevator slot with the leasing office.
2. Send us the certificate requirements: management name, mailing address and email. The COI is free.
3. Tell us your slot time; in the East Bay our morning arrival window is 9 to 11 AM, and an afternoon slot has to be checked against our schedule when you book.
4. Measure your largest pieces against the elevator door.

Our hourly rate covers the whole crew and the truck: $145 for 2 movers, $175 for 3 and $235 for 4. You pay for at least 3 hours, then by the quarter hour, plus packing materials only if you use them. The rate does not change on weekends. Blankets, tape, wardrobe boxes, floor protection and furniture disassembly and reassembly are part of every full-service move. Waiting for the elevator is job time, which is one more reason to have the crew arrive right as your slot opens.
