San Francisco to Marin movers

Nearly every move from San Francisco to Marin County crosses the Golden Gate Bridge on US-101. So if the drive to Mill Valley takes 30 minutes, it is billed as 1 hour, which is $175 with 3 movers. The rest of the bill is the time spent loading and unloading.

The Larkspur to Mill Valley move fit inside the 3-hour minimum: 3 x $175 = $525. The Santa Clara to San Rafael move, about 60 miles end to end, took 7 billed hours. Long drives add up quickly when they are counted twice.

Mill Valley, Sausalito, Tiburon and the hills above San Rafael have narrow roads, tight turns and homes far above or below the street. Our 26 ft truck needs about 40 feet of space for itself and its ramp. Send the address early: David looks at the access before move day and tells you if a shuttle will be needed. A shuttle adds a rental truck and labor, so knowing ahead keeps the day predictable.

For a San Francisco pickup the arrival window is 9 to 11 AM, and the crew calls 30 minutes before arriving. For a pickup inside Marin, ask us for the arrival time when you book.

Moving south into the city works the same way, hourly with the drive counted twice. The San Francisco end often needs the most planning: about 40 feet of curb for the truck and ramp, and if there is no legal space, a temporary permit can be processed through SFMTA.
