Can the movers haul away furniture I no longer want?

We can take away furniture you are done with. You can use our hauling service, which is priced by the volume of what goes, or have the crew drop pieces at a nearby donation center during your move, paying only for the extra time at your hourly rate.

1. Make a list of the pieces you are not keeping, with photos if they are large.
2. Send the list with your quote request so David can price the hauling.
3. For donations, call the center ahead and check what they take and their drop-off hours.
4. Tag the items on move day with tape or a note so they are not loaded with the rest.

Donation centers have their own rules about condition, mattresses and upholstered furniture, and they sometimes turn items away at the door. If they refuse a piece, it comes back on the truck, which costs time. A quick call from you beforehand avoids that, and it also confirms they are open the day you move. On a local move, a drop-off along the way is billed only for the time it adds.
