Do you move just one item, like a couch?

We are set up as a full-service household mover, so a one-piece delivery is not our typical job. If you book us for a single couch, the 3-hour minimum applies just as it would for an apartment. With 3 movers at $175 an hour, that minimum is $525.

A single couch may take far less than three hours of work, but the crew and the 26-foot truck are committed to your job for the morning, so the minimum stays the same for a small job.

If you are paying for three hours anyway, use them. People often add:

• The matching chair, ottoman or side tables
• A bed frame or dresser for a guest room
• Boxes from a garage or a self-storage unit along the route
• A piece for a family member nearby, as an extra stop with no stop fee

Since the rate already covers the whole team and the truck, every extra piece rides along for only the minutes it takes to carry. Each piece is wrapped in blankets, and a sectional is taken apart and rebuilt as part of the service.

If you have moved with us before and need one piece handled, call the office and ask. Any courtesy on a small job is David's call, case by case. Please do not assume a reduced minimum until you have heard it from him directly.
