Edenvale is a mix that does not show up in many San Jose neighborhoods. West of the freeway are residential streets with single-family houses, townhome communities and apartment complexes. East of it, along Hellyer Avenue, are business parks full of offices and light-industrial buildings. Some customers call us for a house move and later for an office move in the same part of town.
For homes, the streets are suburban and mostly level, so access is usually simple. The planning goes into the multi-unit buildings: gated entries, assigned parking, management offices with their own move rules, and apartment stairs. For businesses, it comes down to loading doors, after-hours access and keeping the office running while it moves.
Location helps. With US 101 and Highway 85 close by, the drive to almost anywhere in the South Bay is short, as long as the truck is not stuck in commute traffic.

Things we keep in mind in this part of South San Jose:
Home moves are billed by the hour: 2 movers $145, 3 movers $175, 4 movers $235, with a 3-hour minimum, plus packing materials used. Apartment stairs and long walks from the parking area add time, so we ask about both.
Each full-service move includes moving blankets, tape, wardrobe boxes, floor protection and furniture disassembly and reassembly. Office moves are quoted on our commercial moving page, and moving cost explains how residential hours are estimated.
