Dublin to Pleasanton movers

Dublin and Pleasanton sit on either side of I-580, and people move between them all the time. In 2026 we completed a Pleasanton to Dublin 2-bedroom and a Livermore to Pleasanton move. These short moves are where the 10-minute rule matters most.

California's double drive time rule counts the drive between pickup and drop-off twice only when the two homes are more than 10 minutes apart. Dublin to Pleasanton can be 5 to 15 minutes depending on the addresses: a move from east Dublin to north Pleasanton near Stoneridge can fall under the line, while west Dublin to south Pleasanton near the Ruby Hill area usually does not. Livermore to Pleasanton, about 8 to 10 miles, is normally over it.

Much of east Dublin and parts of Pleasanton are newer planned communities with HOAs, townhomes and condo buildings. Common requests: a certificate of insurance, a move during set hours, and keeping the truck off a private drive. Our COI is free; send the HOA name, mailing address and an email. If there is an elevator, reserve it. Waiting for it is billed time.

Tri-Valley houses often have big garages, and the garage is where time goes. Box the shelves, drain mowers and gas tools (fuel cannot go on the truck), and take bikes off wall hooks. Furniture disassembly and reassembly are included in the hourly rate, so you do not need to take beds apart yourself.

For a very small move inside the Tri-Valley, a few rooms of furniture or a studio, 2 movers at $145 per hour can work, and you can also ask for 2. The 3-hour minimum still applies, so the smallest bill is 3 x $145 = $435. For a full apartment or house, 3 movers at $175 is our standard team, since three people can carry, wrap and load at the same time. Four movers are for a 3-bedroom over 1,800 sq ft or 4 bedrooms and up.
