Do I have to choose a packing package before the move?

No. Nobody has to lock in a package when booking. Your move starts on the standard hourly rate, and once the last item is in place we run the numbers both ways. If Silver or Golden would cost less than the standard bill plus supplies, we switch you over.

1. The crew works at your regular rate and keeps track of every box, cover and roll of wrap it opens.
2. When the job is done, the foreman totals hours and materials.
3. We work out what the same hours would cost with the Silver ($35/hr) or Golden ($70/hr) add-on, which already bundles those supplies.
4. You look at both totals and pick the one you prefer. If the package is lower, that is what you pay.

Before moving day, nobody knows exactly how many mattress covers, dish packs or TV boxes a home will really need. Asking you to guess invites paying for protection you did not use, or skimping on protection you did need. Waiting until the end removes the guesswork. It also means we never steer anyone toward a package. Our job is to show the figures; the decision stays with you.

One thing does help with scheduling: if you think you may want the crew to pack the whole home, mention it when you request a quote on our quote page, so the plan includes enough movers and time. That is a heads-up, not a commitment.

• One TV and one bed: the supplies are usually a small line on the bill, and the standard rate is often lower.
• Four beds, two big screens and a hall of framed art: Silver may come out ahead.
