Yes. We come to your home, look at what is moving, and give you a not-to-exceed price. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation to book.
What the visit gives you
AA phone or email quote is built from the size of your home and is non-binding, because it relies on a description. Walking through the rooms lets us see the real amount of furniture, the boxes, the stairs, the parking and the elevator. So the on-site visit ends with a ceiling price instead of a range. Your bill can come in under it, but not over it.
The estimator calls about 30 minutes before arriving, the same courtesy our crews give on move day.
When an in-home visit makes the most sense
A- Larger houses, where the gap between a light and a heavy load is several hours
- Homes with a garage, attic, basement or storage shed full of things
- Long-distance moves, where price is based on weight and a walkthrough helps size the shipment
- Moves with a piano, safe or other very heavy piece
- Anyone who simply wants a firm maximum before committing
For a smaller apartment, a quote by phone or the online quote form is often enough to plan.
Getting ready for the walkthrough
A- Open closets, the garage and any storage spaces so nothing is missed.
- Point out items that stay behind or will be sold.
- Mention whether you plan to pack yourself or want help.
- Share both addresses so access at the new place is part of the price.

No. We do not offer video estimates because the margin of error is too high. It is an in-person visit or a non-binding quote by phone or email.
QHow long does the walkthrough take?
It depends on the size of the home. Plan on enough time for us to see every room, closet and storage area.
QWill my final bill match the estimate?
Local moves are billed on actual time, so it may come in lower. With a not-to-exceed price it cannot come in higher than the number we gave you.
